New Mexico Bridge

The NM Bridge Project, a New Mexico Behavioral Health Services Division initiative, seeks to support hospital-based EDs across the state in establishing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs for opioid use disorder in the acute setting (ED, hospital) with a bridge to community partners to continue treatment (medication and therapy).

Our Vision

All hospitals across New Mexico are empowered and engaged in transforming communities and saving lives impacted by Opioid Use Disorder.

Our Mission

To assist New Mexico hospitals in creating a better life for people with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) by supporting development, implementation, and sustainability of programs that use medications for the treatment of OUD.
